The
Dehydrating
book:

In Latin America, 4.8 million children are denied an education due to lack of clean drinking water. Dehydration impairs their ability to learn, and for many, prevents them from attending school entirely.

The Dehydrating Book is the water crisis in tangible form. To read it you must add water—without it the story disappears completely, a stark reminder that without water, children can not learn.

hello where can you see this

The water crisis made tangible

  • 68% more donations in two weeks
  • 118% increase in new donor revenue
  • 29 schools with improved water access

Using hydrochromic ink the pages react to water like magic. With water, the pages fill with color, without it the page fades to white.

This tactile experience puts the education crisis directly in donors hands.
